I used to call him Rye-yu too, until I learnt it was pronounced Riu in way of Liu Kang

Yeah, CL's is a little stronger than Vega, SF's resident Bishi boy was nothing more than a crude mindless punching bag (not threatening enough and voice sounds wrong. Ain't even pretty nor vain enough). He's not my fave character but I felt sorry for Vega. Guile stands in for Charlie while Rye-yu something is just there for fun.

In relations to SF the legend of CL movie there seems to be a very, very, very unnecessary character by the name of Maya. Scares me what they would do to Ryu if there was a sequel. Hopefully it won't become Brokeback Dojo

Motivation series
Randomly nitpicks - Balrog the boxer is actually the same age as CL and Charlie survives the whole movie (Guile needs an excuse to declare vengeance upon Bison)

Note- Yes I know Maya is Crimson Viper. she who is so out of place in this Alpha-ish timeline. She who stole the Detective role from Chun Li and makes her into a piano player. Chun Li should be out there training hard and looking for her father and kicking random ass for information that would point her in the general direction of Bison. >_<

I'm not very fond of vain pretty boys like Vega, but the picture makes me want to hug him. I hadn't watched the movie myself, only the 1994 one. I don't think I ever want to know how bad Legend is... *shudder*

No I don't think that would work... at least the makers tried their best with 1994 one - I think they had to pick the faces that resembled the game characters... 2009... It's like they grew lazy and picked someone random 0__o

Vega is at least redeemed in SSF4; tho his ending made me shout, "FFS, shag her already! Jeez!" XXD He's obsessed with Chun Li, so he, well, ought to.

Whoever had the idea of casting that dickweed from the Black Eyed Peas needs to be repeatedly kicked in the head and fed to a hungry tiger shark. -.- Vega is meant to be brown haired, Spanish, pretty and a badass fighter.

Did I mention that he's supposed to be pretty?

He appears in some games as blonde; I always visualise him getting the hair dye out cuz brown hair doesn't match his fighting clothes or something. XD
